  Al Quds index ended today’s session on an up note, rising 0.6%, to 590.85 . A total of 1.1 million shares were exchanged through 289 trades, at a total value of $3.4 million. GUI was the top mover to the upside, rising 4.85%, followed by PADICO (2.34%), BPC (2.27%), VOIC (2.04%) and AZIZA (1.36%). Meanwhile ,AIG was the worst performer, dropping 6.67%, followed by GMC (4.65%), AIB (2.5%), UCI (2.27%) and TNB (1.53%).

  Al-Quds Index fell 1.34% to 590.59 points this week, with 10.9 million shares exchanged in 1700 trades at turnover of $20.8 million. The market capitalization fell 22.13% to 20.8 million, compared with $26.8 million a week earlier.

  NAPCO approves registering affiliate in Jordan

  The Palestine-based National Aluminum and Profile (NAPCO) announced the board approved starting the procedures of registering an affiliate in Jordan in order to be listed on Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) in the coming period. The company’s net profit after taxes for the first nine months of 2013 reached JOD343.81, against JOD 163.789 losses in the same period of 2012.
